Residents of Dubai or Abu Dhabi - congratulations. According to a lecture given at a futurology conference in London last week, the cities have already been earmarked as the winners of the decades to come because of one all-important feature, and it's not oil.

Running from Nov-ember 13 to 17 at the Dubai Airport Expo, this year's Dubai Airshow 2011 will be the biggest yet. With up to 1,000 exhibitors from 50 countries participating, this is the largest such event in the Middle East.

Both trade shows, which hosted over 3,500 visitors last year, will take place side by side at the Dubai Airport Expo from September 26-28, 2011. Organisers are expecting an increase of visitors by 25 per cent compared to last year’s events.
